FOUNDERS NOTE

OSCO was built around piercing and jewellery done properly.

After years in studios, I saw too many shortcuts. Jewellery chosen for looks, not safety. Piercings rushed instead of fitted with care. I wanted to create a place where the materials matter, the process matters, and people feel confident in what they’re wearing.

If it’s not something I’d trust in my own piercings, we don’t use it.

2019

Origins

OSCO London was founded in 2019 by Nicholas Dimpsey as a tattoo studio built on precision, trust, and long-term thinking. From the beginning, the studio was shaped by a belief in body modification as a form of self-expression — something that should always be approached with care, respect, and technical integrity. Nicholas began body piercing alongside his tattoo apprenticeship, where safety, material choice, and correct processes were non-negotiable. Inclusivity and client wellbeing were embedded into the way OSCO operated from day one.
2023

Re-defining Piercing

In 2023, OSCO formally introduced professional body piercing. It quickly became clear that many people were still relying on high-street piercing shops that prioritised speed and volume over safe practices, quality jewellery, and proper aftercare. There was a clear lack of space for piercing that felt both safe and considered. That insight shaped our mission. OSCO exists to change the way body piercing is approached — making it safe, inclusive, and wearable, without overcomplicating the experience.
2025

The Birth of OSCO Jewellery

Today, OSCO London is run by Nicholas and his partner, Delilah, with a shared focus on raising standards across the industry. Everything we do is grounded in safety-first processes, clear education, and jewellery designed to be worn long-term. Our goal is simple: to make safe, well-designed body piercing accessible and fashionable on a national scale.

We don't chase trends. We refine the essentials.

Our approach to design is deliberate.

We work exclusively with implant-grade titanium, chosen for its safety, durability, and suitability for both fresh and healed piercings. Every piece is designed to sit comfortably, heal correctly, and remain wearable long-term.

We understand how overwhelming jewellery spaces can be — endless choice, fast-moving trends, and unnecessary complexity. Our response is to simplify. We focus on the pieces people actually want: clean forms, considered sizing, and finishes that work across different piercings and personal styles.

Our vision is to set a new standard for body piercing — where safety is expected, design is intentional, and the experience feels clear and considered from start to finish. By doing the fundamentals properly, we remove intimidation and replace it with confidence.
