Questions before you book?

Here are a few common questions about piercing appointments at OSCO.

What piercing jewellery do you use? ⌃

We only use implant-grade titanium jewellery for piercings, fitted with flat-back labrets for comfort and safety. This is the professional standard for new piercings.

Do you pierce with needles, blades or guns? ⌃

All piercings at OSCO are performed using single-use, sterile needles.

Needles create a clean, controlled opening through the tissue, causing less trauma than piercing guns. This allows jewellery to sit correctly and supports smoother, more predictable healing.

How many piercings can I get in one appointment? ⌃

We perform a maximum of four piercings per session. Beyond this, healing becomes more difficult, swelling and trauma increase, and aftercare can be harder to manage properly. Limiting the number helps each piercing heal as well as possible.

Do you take appointments or walk-ins? ⌃

Appointments are recommended to guarantee your time slot, but walk-ins are welcome when availability allows. All piercings are carried out at our Northwood, London studio.

Do you pierce minors? ⌃

We pierce clients aged 16+ with valid photo ID. Nose piercings are available from age 14 with a parent or legal guardian present. Earlobe piercings are available from age 5 with a parent or legal guardian present.

How do I book a piercing appointment? ⌃

Piercing appointments can be booked directly through our website. If you’re unsure what to book, feel free to contact the studio.

What should I know before getting pierced? ⌃

We recommend eating beforehand, staying hydrated, and avoiding alcohol. Your piercer will explain placement, jewellery choice, and aftercare before proceeding.
